Why CITIG?

CITIG is a grassroots, responder lead national initiative that facilitates contributions to education, awareness and S&T support that leads to continuous improvements in Canadian public safety interoperability within Canada and abroad. Its vision is to facilitate Canadian public safety interoperability from coast to coast to coast and with international partners.

Best of all, it’s free to join CITIG. Any member of the public, including practitioners, solution-providers, academics and government stakeholders with a common interest in enhancing Canada's communications interoperability are invited to join. Improving responder interoperability helps save lives and protect property -- we all have a role to play.

Registration is a three-step process:

  1. Click on the Register link in the top right corner and complete the required information.
  2. An automated e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided to confirm your registration. By clicking on the link contained in the registration e-mail, your account will be unlocked, and you will have partial access to the member portion of the site.
  3. Once your registration is authenticated by a site administrator (usually within two days), you will be notified and granted full access to the member site.
